New Zealand’s first dedicated Second-hand Motorhome& Caravan Show ...... a huge success!

The CampSaver Second-Hand Motorhome & Caravan Show took over the Great Lake Centre in Taupo on 2nd & 3rd November. In a first of its kind, the show welcomed over 6000 visitors over the 2-day event who got to view and compare over 140 second hand motorhomes and caravans as well as a large selection of exhibitors showcasing everything from e-bikes to heaters to kayaks!

The NZMCA Theatre proved to be a popular area of the show, providing a platform for experts to give tips and tricks on all areas of buying second-hand, keeping your vehicle in top condition and perfecting life on the road.

But the stars of the show were the vast array of 2nd hand Motorhomes, Campers, Caravans and even Buses available to view. With such a large selection on offer, visitors were spoilt for choice with so many brands, models and makes represented, at prices that made purchasing affordable. Buyers loved being able to talk to the owners and compare different vehicles all in one place. There was something for everyone to enter the market - with substantial cost savings.

Event Manager Michele Connell was pleased with the show, “ The first year for any show is always a trial, however with the high interest of private sellers wanting to sell at the show, we were quietly confident this show would be a success”. She continues, “we were pleased with the numbers of visitors over the weekend who came from right around NZ, and feedback has been extremely positive with numbers of RVs sold. This has been a great year 1, and can see this show becoming the ‘must attend’ event for anyone interested n buying or selling their vehicle.”
