What a fantastic event!
The NZMCA Motorhome Caravan & Leisure Show a huge success!
Just over 23,000 visitors attended the NZMCA Motorhome, Caravan & Leisure Show at Mystery Creek Events Centre, last weekend. Over 220 exhibitors experienced strong sales, with many selling out on the first day, and having to restock for the huge day on Saturday that welcomed over 10,000 visitors through the gates.
The new show layout proved to be a great success. The new flow provided a seamless connection to both indoor and outdoor spaces and made every area easily accessible. Visitors and exhibitors alike commented on the ease of connecting to all areas of the show and the new ‘D’ Street space was a central link to the Pavilion, both Accessory Marquees Kowhai and Pohutakawa, the Seat and Eat and the TrailLite Group Theatre.
The Event Park & Stay was again full of campers from around NZ enjoying the ability to stay on site and enjoy the show over 3 days. Mystery Creek was a sea of motorhomes and caravans on the weekend and campers enjoyed the many additions to the show, made especially for them such as 2 new entries, as well as the late-night Seat and Eat functions, thanks to the NZMCA, with many showing off their dancing skills to the onsite musician. Final attendance numbers reached well over 1200 Motorhomes and Caravans, over the weekend.
Event Manager Michele Connell was thrilled with the weekend. “We had 3 great days with reports of happy exhibitors and delighted visitors, the positive feeling within the show was great to see and we look forward to delivering another successful weekend at our next show, the CampSaver Second-Hand Motorhome & Caravan Show, in Taupo in November”
