11,000 people braved the weather last weekend and visited the NZMCA Motorhome, Caravan & Leisure Show at Christchurch Arena.

Our visitors received a complimentary Eco Bag on arrival thanks to Selwyn District Council and enjoyed a full Arena of exhibitors, the all new Jayco Hall, Christchurch's first accessories marquee, outdoor exhibitor space, the Adjusta Mattress Café, the TrailLite Group Theatre, and The Health Check Up Centre sponsored by Ryman Healthcare… there was just so much see and do at this year’s Show!

This year for the first time our Event Park & Stay was located at Addington Raceway. Over 235 self contained motorhomes and caravans joined us for the weekend and enjoyed both our Show and the dining options and races at Addington Raceway on Friday and Saturday night. We know the weather did not play ball and made leaving the venue challenging but we are already looking at solutions for next year. A big thank you to the NZMCA parking team who worked tirelessly to make it happen!

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
